Welcome to Grown-Ups For A Day!
Parents will always be crazy about—or crazy because
of—their kids. These bundles of joy do not just change your house, your
car, your finances. They change your life. Forever.
Parenthood is no bed of roses (right, moms?); it is
difficult to say the least. To change the old Dickens quote just a
bit: It is the best of times, it is the worst of times. But hey, I
still feel like a kid myself during most of these times, and being with my two
bratinellas, my husband and I often have to struggle against our own wishes to
be grownups for a day.
And now for a short note about me (Rose):
I am a mother of two little girls, ages 5 and 2.
I normally write about my comedies and tragedies with these ladies whom I
feel are too smart for their age. My husband and I have been married for
six years and counting. Life has its ups and downs, but no matter what
comes our way, we always manage to milk the fun out of it. Professionally,
I do service level management, a job I have occupied for nearly two years.
And that’s it really. This is a blog about me,
my life, and my adventures with my children. So let’s get on with that
adventure, because the great explorer Charles Muntz was right about one thing
for certain: It’s out there!
Here are my two little girls. :)
